The course is aimed at all orchestral conducting students who have acquired basic technique through academic or private courses as well as professional conductors who wish to deepen their conducting technique or expand the repertoire.
Eligibility and subsequent active participation in the course will be evaluated by the teacher after reviewing curriculum vitae and videos of orchestral rehearsals or orchestral performances (symphonic or operatic).
The maximum number of active students is set at 15. Auditor students may be admitted at the discretion of the organization and the teacher.

- W.A. Mozart – Overture from Don Giovanni
- L. van Beethoven – Symphony No. 2 Op. 36
- S. Prokofiev – Symphony No. 1, Op. 25 “Classical”
Course overview
- Lessons with the assistance of two pianists on the first two days of the course (12 hours total)
- Lessons with orchestra (36 musicians) On the second two days of the course (12 hours total)
Location
The masterclass will take place at the Auditorium Città di Seregno which is located in Piazza Risorgimento, 20831 Seregno (MB) along with its connected halls. Seregno is approximately 30 km north of Milan and can be easily reached by train from Milano Centrale station.
Nearest airports: Milan and Bergamo.
Video recording
The orchestral sessions will be recorded for educational purposes. Students who request it will receive a video of their lesson to review their work and deepen their learning experience.
Pricing
- Total cost for active students: €1,600. Registration fee 30%, 70% due upon the student’s arrival to be admitted to the lessons.
- Total cost for auditor students: €500. Registration fee 30%, 70% due upon the student’s arrival to be admitted to the lessons.
Room and board
The organization will establish agreements for discounted hotel and restaurant prices for course participants.

Applications must be submitted no later than April 6, 2025.
Students who are not admitted to the course will receive an immediate refund of the registration fee. They may also choose to participate as auditors if allowed by the organization.
In the event that the course is canceled due to force majeure or organizational reasons, the registration fee will be immediately refunded. If the course is postponed, the student will have the option to either remain enrolled or cancel their participation, with an immediate refund of the registration fee.
In the event that the student is admitted to the course but is unable to attend, the registration fee will not be refunded.
