The Filarmonica Ettore Pozzoli

Founded in 2007 and supported by public entities, foundations, and private businesses, the Filarmonica Ettore Pozzoli quickly established itself as a prestigious ensemble in the music sector, thanks to its high cultural profile and strong roots in the local community. The ambitious project to create an institution where orchestra professors with extensive experience, such as principal players in major symphonic and opera orchestras, serve as both artistic examples and career opportunities for young and promising musicians, has led to the creation of a vibrant hub that today sees significant cultural and educational achievements.
Numerous artistic personalities and cultural entities have shared our enthusiasm including Julian Kovachev, the Soloists of the Arena di Verona, CILEA, the Universities of Pavia and Milan, Claudio Scimone, Francesco Omassini, Ovidiu Balan, Roberto Balconi, tenor Marco Berti, Roman Brogli Sacker, Elena D’angelo, Orchestra Milano Classica, Inside Jazz Quartet, Area M Orchestra Milano, Paolo Tomelleri, Francesca Khalifa and Antonella Ruggiero, and many other international artists.
Promoter of the established music season “I Grandi Concerti,” held at the S. Rocco Theater in Seregno, as well as collaborating with The E. Pozzoli International Piano Competition , the Filarmonica Ettore Pozzoli, and the cultural association representing it are recognized as a prestigious cultural entity. They embody the cultural and educational excellence of the Monza and Brianza Province, receiving the “Beato Talamoni” award, the highest honor granted annually by the provincial administration to five local individuals or organizations that have excelled in the fields of business, culture, art, and social contributions.
The Filarmonica Ettore Pozzoli also places great emphasis on offering educational projects for schools, believing that now more than ever, there is a need to stimulate curiosity and a love for the noble art of music from a young age.
